WTB Byway RS 50 – Aero Performance for Fast Gravel (Patent pending)

The WTB Byway RS 50 is designed exclusively for speed. Its smooth center section ensures high rolling efficiency on asphalt and hard-packed surfaces, while flat transition and shoulder treads provide predictable cornering grip even on loose terrain.
For the new generation of wide gravel tires, WTB has developed a patent-pending aero technology in collaboration with the aerodynamics specialists at Stromm. Strategically placed vortex generators and trip strips in the sidewall guide the airflow in a controlled manner closer to the wheel, thereby reducing drag. The result: less energy loss and greater efficiency at high speeds.
The redesigned 120-TPI carcass combines high riding comfort with a three-part SG2 bead-to-bead puncture protection system. The advanced Dual DNA rubber compound combines a fast-rolling center zone with grippier shoulder lugs for confident cornering.
