GripGrab Faststream Aero Dial Covers

The GripGrab FastStream Aero Dial Covers are engineered for high-speed road and gravel cycling, targeting one of the most aerodynamically disruptive areas of modern cycling shoes. By smoothing airflow over protruding fastening dials, they are designed to reduce aerodynamic disturbance with minimal added weight. In controlled aerodynamic testing, the dial covers demonstrated measurable aerodynamic savings of up to 8 watts at 45 km/h.

A PU-coated stretch fabric is used to focus coverage on the fastening dial area, creating a continuous surface where airflow disruption is typically highest. A close-fitting slip-on construction delivers a streamlined profile while allowing airflow to uncovered areas of the shoe.

With a weight of just 18 grams per pair, the FastStream Aero Dial Covers add negligible mass to the rider’s setup while delivering targeted aerodynamic benefit.

Developed and tested in collaboration with professional road cycling teams, the FastStream Aero Dial Covers are positioned as a focused aerodynamic alternative to full shoe covers. They are compatible with road and gravel cycling shoes but are not reinforced for off-road or heavy gravel use.

The dial covers are designed to pair with the GripGrab FastStream Aero Cycling Socks to create a clean aerodynamic interface around the ankle and lower leg.
